Platform 50 Welfare may collect and store member profile information, contact information, membership number, registration and application information, spouse information if provided, children information if provided, emergency contact or next of kin information, benefit request information, uploaded supporting documents where applicable, contribution records, payment records, receipt records, account statement records, account deletion request records, and account status and standing records.
Data is collected to manage member accounts, verify eligibility, process benefit requests, track welfare contributions, record payments, issue receipts, generate member statements, support audit and recordkeeping, respond to member support requests, and protect the welfare fund from misuse or duplicate claims.
Information is stored in the app database and related secure storage systems. Uploaded documents may be stored separately from text records. Records should be linked to the member profile and membership number, and access should be role-based so members only see their own records.
Financial and Welfare Record Retention
Registration fee records, contribution records, benefit requests, benefit payments, receipts, and statements may be retained for audit, financial, legal, or welfare administration purposes. Account deletion requests do not automatically erase required financial or welfare records, and archived or withdrawn members may still have retained records for audit history.
Supporting documents may be uploaded for benefit requests or payment verification. Documents should be used only for welfare administration and review, and members should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
Members can access their own profile, benefit requests, contributions, receipts, statements, and account settings. Members cannot access other members’ records and cannot access admin-only financial review tools.
Authorized admins may access member records only for welfare administration. Admin access should be limited to tasks such as reviewing applications, managing benefits, recording payments, issuing receipts, and responding to deletion requests.
Account Deletion and Retention
Members may request account deletion. Requests are reviewed by administration, and some records may be retained if needed for audit, financial recordkeeping, legal compliance, or welfare history.
